Stopped by on Friday lunchtime and even though it was super busy, the service I received was so friendly and welcoming. I asked questions about the filter coffee bean and the barista who helped me was knowledgeable and approachable!! Plus the Colombian coffee was excellent

My favourite coffee shops in St Albans at the moment - there are many to choose from! Good food and even better coffee. Nothing is rushed here, taste is the priority. They offer a loyalty card which gives you a free coffee after 8 cups. Go and visit if you haven’t already!

Ive bene working down in St Albans for 5 weeks and been going here every morning for my morning cuppa. The filter coffee changes every couple of days and is absolutely belting and at 3.40 for a 12 oz.....cant beat it. imagine going to one the the other big chain coffee shops near by and paying almost double for some sugary mesh of a drink! also the pastry's are fresh and taste amazing.

Superb coffee. I’d been waiting with anticipation for Nkora to open and I wasn’t disappointed. Finally, an independent cafe serving superb coffee in St Albans. Why would you go to one of the awful coffee chains?

I was so impressed with Nkora! This is a charming and airy coffee shop in the centre of St Albans. The coffee was very well made, and they used high quality specialty beans. In regards to treats, there was an exciting abundance of food that catered to a variety of dietary preferences and intolerances. I was astounded at how many gluten free, gluten free/ dairy free, gluten free/ vegan, and keto options there were (on top of regular offerings). Truly, this was one of the best selections I’ve seen in the UK. After having lived in Oxford, which is lacking in most cafes having even one option, this nearly brought me to tears. THE CHOICES! I opted for a peanut butter blondie, but I am interested to try the white chocolate raspberry donut next time. The service was also top notch - the staff answered all of my inquiries in regards to food and allergens. They were amicable, knowledgeable, and had smiles on their faces. Genuinely a lovely spot to check out, and highly recommended!
